I am a maintainer of the affected project (
open-webui/open-webui). This advisory carries no fixed version and an understated affected range, so it produces perpetual unfixable false positives in Dependabot and downstream scanners even though the issue was remediated.For the record, as maintainer: the multipart-boundary parsing DoS is the upstream python-multipart issue CVE-2024-53981, resolved by bumping python-multipart to 0.0.18, first released in v0.4.7 (an inherited dependency issue, not open-webui application code).
